These are the basic steps in building a swimming pool:

Excavation is carried out with our heavy machinery, of any size, depending on the access available.
After the excavation is complete and the architect in charge together with our good selves is satisfied with the rock surfaces, a 3'' concrete screed is layed to the rock face. This allows us to mark the swimming pool outline.
After the swimming pool outline is marked, a double layer of C503 mesh is layed to the swimming pool floor. An 8'' layer of grade 30 concrete is layed to the swimming pool structural floor with L - shaped C505 mesh branching up all around the perimeter to ensure good continuation of the steel reinforcement.
The next step is to build the swimming pool walls with 9'' hollow block work ('single type'). The walls are built with 2 skins and a 6'' cavity that will be filled with grade 30 concrete and steel reinforcement.
Once the swimming pool is built, the coping will be layed. The plastering of the swimming pool will be carried out with a double coat of 'fine sand, cement and waterproofer'. This is to ensure strength and waterproofing.
Decoration mosaic ceramic tiles 'to the clients tastes' are then layed with heavy duty, non porous adhesive.
Finally, the paint is applied. We stock many different qualities of paints however the best type is our Epoxy Paint that is algae resistant and long lasting.
